Competition: Win a Star Realms Hamper

Welcome back to Cardboard Quest! We had a great start to our site in 2015, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to bring you more gaming content. And we’d like to usher our 2016 in with a new competition:

We’re giving away this great Star Realms hamper worth almost R1,000, courtesy of our friends at Board Games South Africa. Star Realms is a fantastic deckbuilding game, small enough to carry around with you at all times, but packs a huge amount of gameplay. It was only released in 2014, but is already ranked number 62 on BoardGameGeek.

The hamper includes:

• 1 x Star Realms base set – The two player Base Set is all you need to start your galactic adventure. It contains a rule book together with 128 beautifully illustrated cards (80 trade deck cards, 10 Explorer ships, two 10 card decks for each player to start with, and 18 double-sided score cards) in a compact cardboard box. One deckbox supports 2 players. Use additional copies for multi-player games.
• 4 x Crisis Boosters –  This explosive new expansion features four new packs of cards to expand your Star Realms’ play experience: Events, Heroes, Fleets & Fortresses and Bases & Battleships.
• 1 x Star Realms Card Box – Deck Box for Star Realms Deck building Card Game. Star Realms themed artwork, “400” count box. Comes with 3 promos, 4 dividers, and 224 sleeves.
• 1 x Biohazard Life Calculator – A 2 player scoreboard for your games. Reset buttons change both life totals to either 20 or 40 when depressed for 2 seconds (to prevent accidental resets).
